A (tad bit) late Christmas
Well I spent the majority of my day today at my grandparents house to celebrate a late Christmas party with my dad's side of the family. It started kinda early, at 11:30, because my brother had to work in the afternoon, so I had to miss church. But I got a good lunch (including lots of shrimp) so it's all good! And I made an important discovery: My beloved Texan cousins are actually my 3rd cousins! And no wonder, only such a distant relationship could explain our varying skills in Monopoly! -AHEM- Kiersten -cough- -cough- Its ok you make up for it in personality lol...Anyways...The "party" was cool I guess, but not as cool as our awesome Kwanzaa and New Year's celebrations in Texas these past weeks! So anyways I was bored when I got back and decided to write this, so comment and make this drab post worth while!

i love your post!! So, we are third cousins after all...mystery solved!! :) I'm really going to have to practice my Monopoly skills and redeem myself when you come back to Texas!...which will hopefully be SOON!...btw, have you talked to your mom bout the whole coming to school here your Senior year?...have you tried bribery? LOL jk!..though, if it works, i say "go fer it!" *notice the Texas accent there?* LOL :)

ReplyDeleteMaybe you can play Monopoly with Morgen and beat him!...or then again maybe not haha. And make Brittany build up a tolerance to the game as well so she can actually play with us next time, which will hopefully be soon, still looking for something to bribe my parents with lol And say hi to Josh for me!

And over eating our shrimp we were talking about my (awesome) trip to Texas and the topic came up of how you were related to me, and everyone agreed that your parents would be my second cousins and the three of you would be my third cousins. And then Morgen would be my 4th cousin and so on.
ReplyDeleteDo these waddling penguins take too long for your computer to load? If so just say so and I'll take them off, I just thought they were too cute! Also is there anyway to make these gadgets wider? Its driving me crazy!
ReplyDeleteI think that there might be a way to widen them but I'm not positive...if i figure it out I'll let cha know.

I'll be workin' on my game skills and try to get bri to the point of being able to play without wanting to drop out the third time round the board lol.
u should add pictures of shrimp on your blog right along with the penguines!! LOL JK!
Tanya (my mom lol) said she misses you and that it is just not the same around here without you! (I agree!!) she said that she has already worn her socks and loves them!! :)
ReplyDeleteThese penguins would look so much cuter if I could see them in their entirety! And unfortunately there aren't any shrimp related gadgets, which is probably a good thing seeming how they would make me hungry every time I saw them. mmhm. Oh and thanks for filling in who Tanya is for me lol I would have never figured it out haha I'm glad she likes her socks! And I miss all of you too
